Independence Stadium is the National Stadium of Namibia

In December 2009, Jayline (Aust) Pty Ltd/Terraplas PLC of the UK,  secured the Contract  for Independence Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia.

The Independence Stadium in Windhoek is the National Stadium of the Republic of Namibia. It holds 25,000 spectators and is the home stadium of the Namibia Football Team. The Independence Stadium situated in the capital city of Windhoek, has a 105 x 70m grass surface area and is owned and operated by Windhoek Sports Centre. It is one of the largest stadiums of the country.

The stadium hosts all of Namibia football teams international and home games, including all the league matches of its clubs.

In December 2009 Jayline (Aust) Pty Ltd/Terraplas PLC of the UK,  secured the Contract and received a Sales Agreement from Independence Stadium, Ministry of Youth, National Service, Sport & Culture (MYNSSC), for the supply of a Field Protectant System (Terratile), a Performance Staging System (Terraflor) and a Driveway Road System (Terratrak), totalling 10,000m².  These products were specifically purchased for the purpose of protecting the natural turf field and artificial turf systems, owned and operated by the MYNSSC, from damage that may be caused by non-athletic special event programming, including exhibitions, concerts, multi-day festivals or other activities, to increase programs offered by the MYNSCC, as well as increasing the revenue, without compromising the integrity of these facilities.

All three products had to be shipped, delivered and installed on site for the 20th Independence Anniversary Celebrations, held at the stadium on the 21st March 2010, with a multitude of concerts and events held the week before, as a build up to the main event.
